Sea Contractor (S) Pte Ltd is one of Singapore’s most trusted manufacturers and suppliers of marine ladders, safety nets, and deck equipment. Founded in 1969, we have over 50 years of experience providing reliable, high-quality gear for marine professionals and ship chandlers across the region.

What began as a small workspace by the Rochor River has evolved into a staple of Singapore's marine supply industry. Our foundation was built on pure problem solving and hard work:

• 1969: Established near the Rochor River in Singapore by Mr. Choa Goan Ho. Starting with wooden rowboats, Mr. Choa soon taught himself to craft ship's wheel, building custom production machinery from the ground up to handcraft over 30 wheels a month.
• 1976: Officially registered as Sea Contractor, expanding production to include wooden oars and hatch covers.
• 1980s: Relocated to Eunos and shifted our manufacturing focus to our modern core product: pilot ladders & embarkation ladders.
• 1989: Officially incorporated as a Private Limited company to support our steady growth.
• 2008: Introduced our original aluminium clamping design, a practical innovation that significantly improved the safety, reliability, and durability of our ladders.
